Soy Wax Manufacturers & Suppliers : Canada
What is Soy Wax?
Soy wax is a natural, plant-based wax made from soybean oil through a refining process. First, soybeans are cleaned and then either cold pressed or subjected to solvent extraction to get crude soybean oil. The crude oil undergoes degumming to remove phospholipids, neutralization to get rid of free fatty acids, bleaching to eliminate color, deodorization to remove smells, and finally, hardening through hydrogenation. During hydrogenation, unsaturated fats are changed into saturated fats, transforming the oil into a solid wax at room temperature. This refined soy wax is stable, has a high melting point, and features a smooth, creamy texture, making it perfect for candles, cosmetics, and industrial uses.
Soy Wax:
Smooth, Versatile, Natural Waxes
Soy wax is becoming known as the new gold standard for natural waxes, especially as Canada focuses more on sustainability and eco-friendly ingredients. Canadian industries choose soy wax for its renewable, biodegradable qualities and its ability to burn cleanly without smoke in candles. This makes it attractive to consumers who care about the environment. Soy wax is also known for its great fragrance retention, smooth finish, and stability in various conditions, which make it the preferred option for high-quality candles, cosmetics, and coatings. Its versatility helps Canadian manufacturers meet both local and global sustainability standards while offering better performance than petrochemical-based or synthetic alternatives.
