Beeswax Manufacturers & Suppliers : China
What is Beeswax?
Beeswax is a natural wax that worker honeybees produce in small scales from glands on their abdomens. After extracting honey, the wax is collected from honeycombs and refined. The process starts with melting to remove impurities. The crude wax is then treated with phosphoric acid, washed, bleached with activated clays and carbon, and deodorized under vacuum and steam. This produces refined beeswax that has better purity, color, and smell. The refined beeswax has physical and chemical properties that make it a popular choice in many industrial and consumer products.
Beeswax:
The Benchmark in Natural Waxes
Beeswax is regarded as the best type of wax due to its unique blend of moisturizing, protective, and antibacterial qualities. In China, companies choose beeswax because of its natural source, versatility, and excellent performance in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food coatings, and specialty items. The high quality and multifunctional features of refined beeswax make it essential for premium, natural formulations, particularly when adhering to strict EU and German standards for regulations and sustainability.
Capacity Snapshot
Mount Wilder’s wax refineries can produce 90 tonnes of refined beeswax each month. This ensures we can meet large customer demands without sacrificing quality.
Our parent company runs two solvent extraction plants that can process over 500 tonnes per day. This consistently feeds the wax refineries with necessary raw materials.
The entire refining process is backed by an oil refinery that has a daily capacity of 105 tonnes. This allows smooth operations from raw material sourcing to finished beeswax production.
