Beeswax Manufacturers & Suppliers : Vietnam
What is Beeswax?
Beeswax is a natural substance secreted by honeybees when they build and maintain honeycombs. Worker bees produce it in the hive from glands on their abdomens. To extract it, honeycombs are heated to melt the beeswax, and then it is separated from honey and other impurities. The raw beeswax is further refined through melting, filtering, bleaching, and deodorizing processes to create high-quality refined beeswax with a pure, natural color and aroma. This refined beeswax has great physical and chemical properties, including a high melting point, elasticity, water resistance, and antibacterial qualities. These features make it suitable for cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, food industries, and industrial applications.
Beeswax:
The Benchmark in Natural Waxes
Beeswax has gained recognition as a new gold standard in waxes because of its natural origin, purity, and many benefits. In Vietnam, companies are increasingly selecting beeswax over other waxes due to its excellent emollient, skin-protective, and antimicrobial properties. This supports the creation of high-end, eco-friendly products that meet both global and local standards, especially in health, beauty, and food sectors, offering superior performance and consumer appeal.
Capacity Snapshot
Mount Wilder’s wax refineries can produce 90 tonnes of refined beeswax each month. This capacity allows them to consistently supply high-quality beeswax to global markets with reliable standards and timely deliveries. Such capacity ensures reliability and the ability to scale up to meet increasing demand.
The group operates two solvent extraction plants, each with a capacity exceeding 500 tonnes per day. These plants provide the raw materials necessary for producing premium beeswax. Their large-scale operations ensure a steady supply of high-quality raw beeswax for refining.
The refinery sources from an integrated oil refinery that processes 105 tonnes of soybean or other vegetable oils daily. This setup allows for seamless production from raw material to refined beeswax, ensuring purity and quality in the final product.
